Operation & Procurement Executive – Battery & PCB

Role Summary

This position is based in Chennai (Baiker) and involves managing procurement and operational functions related to batteries and PCBs. The incumbent will focus on procurement from the field, vendor management, supervising warehouse activities, optimizing transport expenses, and ensuring full statutory adherence to CPCB/SPCB norms.

Key Duties and Performance Indicators

• Execute daily visits to markets and onboard scrap vendors while securing advantageous purchase rates to achieve margin targets.
• Oversee warehouse operations including inbound/outbound flows, calling weight verifications, material segregation (per Form 2), and efficient load planning to minimize transport costs per metric ton/kilogram.
• Ensure thorough maintenance of compliance documents such as Form 6/8/10, E-way bills, Lorry Receipts, WMM/RLG manifests, and collect necessary proofs like stamped PODs and geo-tagged loading photographs.
• Provide consistent daily and weekly management information system reports covering procurement volumes, pricing, margins, and recovery of shortages.

Candidate Profile

• Possess between one and four years of experience specifically in electronic waste, battery recycling, or scrap procurement sectors.
• Demonstrate strong negotiation and field networking abilities along with familiarity with operational documentation procedures.

Additional Information

• Salary Range: ₹30,000 to ₹35,000 monthly.
• Preferred Age Range: 20 to 28 years.
