About the Role

The Manager, Global Mobility Technical will oversee the technical details of individual global assignments within the organization. This position primarily manages the due diligence process for international assignments, ensuring all arrangements comply with company policies and standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and configure records in the KPMG LinkE system for each assignment.
  • Manage and document the comprehensive due diligence process for mobile assignments, collaborating with internal teams and external experts to address all relevant matters.
  • Partner with the Mobility Consulting team to align assignment setups with business strategies.
  • Develop and interpret mobility cost projections, integrating tax implications identified during due diligence to ensure accurate cost planning.
  • Conduct comparative analyses of various mobility package options when needed.
  • Coordinate with business stakeholders to gain approval on cost estimates and proceed with assignments.
  • Assist in the annual refresh of cost projections to maintain accuracy over time.
  • Serve as a liaison between local payroll and Mobility Tax Accounting teams to ensure that tax effects of international assignments are properly captured in payroll and reporting.
  • Generate and distribute Letters of Understanding to business stakeholders and managers for communication with assignees.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Accounting or Taxation.
  • Proficiency in English at a full professional level.
  • At least 3 years of experience in global mobility operations.
  • Preferred: 3+ years of experience specializing in expatriate tax matters.
  • Strong analytical abilities combined with keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Collaborative team player mindset.
  • Able to effectively work in a diverse virtual environment leveraging modern communication and technology tools.
  • Flexibility to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.
  • Self-driven with the capability to meet deadlines independently.
