Role Overview

We are seeking a Machine Learning Engineer to join our newly forming Singapore team. This role demands a seasoned problem solver and technical leader focused on delivering real-world impact. You will translate complex engineering challenges into scalable AI solutions and collaborate closely with customers on-site, embedding advanced AI models into their tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end deployment of AI models and engineering surrogates such as deep learning for CAE/CFD/FEA data, anomaly detection, time-series forecasting, and optimization within customer production settings.
• Effectively communicate findings and trade-offs to senior stakeholders, influencing product strategy with data-backed insights.
• Lead project scoping and architectural design of ML and data pipelines, establishing success criteria and quality standards.
• Develop robust, scalable machine learning systems and APIs deployable on both cloud and on-premises environments, utilizing technologies like Python, PyTorch, Pandas, fastAPI, Scipy, and Kubeflow.
• Provide mentorship and technical leadership to engineers and data scientists, making clear decisions under pressure.
• Travel internationally (~3-4 weeks per quarter) to collaborate closely with customers across North America, Europe, Asia, and Oceania.
• Oversee new project scoping with existing clients and actively contribute to expanding the customer base for PhysicsX.

Who You Are

You hold at least 3 years of industry experience in a commercial setting after completing a Master's or PhD. You possess strong technical expertise with demonstrated success in delivering scalable ML systems and enjoy mentoring others. Comfortable taking ownership of complex initiatives, you aim to continuously enhance system performance and user impact.
