Key Responsibilities

• Convert complex business challenges into data-centric solutions by identifying opportunities, conducting thorough data exploration, engineering features, and building predictive models.
• Design, develop, train, validate, and fine-tune machine learning models and statistical tools tailored to enterprise scenarios.
• Utilize various analytical techniques including exploratory data analysis, forecasting, classification, clustering, recommendation engines, anomaly detection, experimentation, causal inference, and predictive analytics.
• Create advanced Generative AI applications leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), embeddings, vector databases, and agent-based AI frameworks.
• Deploy AI and analytical models into enterprise production environments ensuring scalability, robustness, and operational efficiency.
• Formulate evaluation metrics, perform rigorous model validations, monitor deployments, and iteratively enhance model accuracy and reliability.
• Engage closely with client teams to deeply understand their business processes, data architectures, and challenges to drive impactful AI adoption.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with AI engineers, data engineers, product managers, and user experience teams to deliver end-to-end AI solutions.
• Communicate insights, technical decisions, and recommendations effectively to both technical teams and business stakeholders.
• Stay abreast of the latest trends and breakthroughs in data science, machine learning, Generative AI, and agentic AI and apply relevant innovations.

Required Skills and Experience

• Extensive hands-on experience in data science, applied machine learning, and AI with strong command of Python and SQL.
• Proficiency in ML frameworks such as Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and XGBoost.
• Solid grounding in statistics, probability, experimental design, hypothesis testing, feature engineering, and model evaluation metrics.
• Demonstrated ability building predictive models, recommendation systems, forecasting tools, anomaly detection, and classification algorithms.
• Practical experience working with Large Language Models, prompt engineering, Retrieval-Augmented Generation, embeddings, vector databases, and AI orchestration platforms like LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, or AutoGen.
• Expertise in deploying ML and AI solutions on cloud-native infrastructures using modern MLOps methodologies.
• Familiarity with SAP data environments such as SAP S/4HANA, SAP HANA Cloud, SAP BW/4HANA, SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), AI Core, AI Launchpad, and SAP AI services is advantageous.
• Ability to translate unclear business needs into effective analytical solutions while balancing accuracy, scalability, interpretability, and business value.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills suited for client-facing roles.
• Strong aptitude for leveraging AI tools in daily workflows, ensuring quality outputs through thoughtful prompt and context design, experimentation, and integration.
