Role Overview

As an LTL Warehouse Associate, you will play a pivotal role in managing the movement and preparation of products for shipment, quality control, and maintaining a safe, clean work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Retrieve products from inventory and organize them into palletized orders ready for shipment
• Label items for shipping following supervisors' instructions
• Participate actively in the quality control procedures
• Apply shrink wrapping, mark pallets, and prepare shipments as directed by supervisors
• Accurately document all inventory movements
• Adhere to safe work practices as stipulated by management
• Maintain cleanliness and ensure the warehouse remains free of debris
• Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and suitable clothing according to the company's employee guidelines
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Previous experience in warehouse operations preferred
• Forklift operating experience preferred
• Capability to lift weights up to 75 pounds

Work Schedule

• Regular working hours are from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday
• Daily hours may fluctuate based on workload demands

Physical Requirements

• Sitting occurs rarely (less than 5% of the time)
• Standing, walking, bending, and kneeling happen continuously (over 75% of the time)
• Lifting is a continuous activity (over 75% of the time)
• Frequently lift up to 50 pounds (up to 75% of the time)
• Occasionally lift more than 50 pounds (less than 25% of the time)

Work Environment

• Warehouse setting involving frequent use of machinery and equipment

Compensation

Starting pay is $17.50 per hour.
