About the Role
We are seeking enthusiastic and dependable Lifeguards to join our team at Belgravia Leisure in Belmont, Western Australia. The Lifeguard will manage daily pool operations ensuring the safety and enjoyment of all patrons in and around the pool areas. This role suits individuals passionate about water safety, energetic, outgoing, and committed to excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day pool operations maintaining a safe and welcoming environment.
- Engage positively with visitors to promote safety and enjoyment during their visit.
- Ensure adherence to Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) standards and public safety practices within the facility.
- Work mornings, evenings, and weekends as part of a dynamic team or independently when required.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Current Pool Lifeguard Certificate and CPR Certificate.
- Current First Aid Level 2 certification.
- National Police Check and Working with Children Check clearance upon employment.
- Excellent verbal communication skills suitable for interacting with a diverse range of ages, abilities, and cultures.
- Understanding of OHS and safety regulations relevant to aquatic facilities.
- Pool Operations Certificate is valued but not mandatory.
