Opportunity Overview
A prominent FMCG company in the UAE is seeking an experienced Engineering Procurement & Stores Specialist to join their team. This role is ideal for candidates with a strong background in manufacturing, particularly within FMCG or food industries, and expertise in technical procurement and maintenance operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the entire procurement lifecycle for engineering spares, including sourcing, contract negotiations, inventory accuracy, and comprehensive management reporting.
- Ensure the integrity of physical inventory and system data for engineering spare parts on a day-to-day basis.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- 5 to 8 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 3 years dedicated to technical/MRO procurement.
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, or supply chain management, demonstrating strong technical knowledge relevant to spare part specifications.
- Advanced proficiency in ERP software such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics; familiarity with eFacility is preferred.
