Junior Software Developer

Role Overview

The Junior Software Developer will assist in the enhancement and maintenance of the ERP platform under close guidance from a Senior Software Developer. This position is designed for progressive growth, starting with supervised problem resolution and minor feature developments, advancing towards independently managing assigned modules over time. The role focuses on assessing candidates based on their aptitude and learning speed rather than prior technical expertise.

Key Responsibilities

• Address application defects with supervision, ensuring all changes pass through code reviews.
• Develop user interface components such as lists, filters, and data entry forms employing Vue.js technology.
• Create and test server-side API endpoints for data operations, adhering to established coding conventions within the codebase.
• Formulate and validate database queries and participate in database migration processes under guidance.
• Manage interface translations across English, Arabic, and Hindi, including adjustments for right-to-left (RTL) language layouts.
• Conduct thorough testing of deliverables, including verifying functionality across various mobile screen dimensions before submission for review.
• Document tasks undertaken and issues encountered clearly to support team knowledge sharing.
• Acquire comprehensive understanding of the ERP business domain concepts such as tenants, companies, chart of accounts, journal entries, fiscal periods, and approval protocols.
• Promptly report obstacles after reasonable self-troubleshooting efforts.
• Aim to take full ownership of a specific module within twelve months contingent on satisfactory development progress.
