About the Role

A prominent global high-technology manufacturing company is seeking an Internal Auditor to join their Singapore team. The position involves conducting risk-based internal audits and advisory services, spanning financial, operational, and business processes. The role includes utilizing data analytics and AI technologies, contributing to process improvements, and participating in international audit activities.

Primary Responsibilities

• Perform risk-focused internal audits and advisory projects across diverse financial and operational sectors.
• Carry out client interviews, process walkthroughs, control evaluations, and document audit procedures clearly and methodically.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of controls, pinpoint weaknesses, root causes, and identify enhancement opportunities independently.
• Apply data analytics and artificial intelligence tools to detect patterns, irregularities, risks, and opportunities that elevate audit outcomes.
• Create actionable and business-centric recommendations targeting process optimization, automation, and control improvement.
• Produce comprehensive audit reports and deliver presentations that effectively communicate findings and insights to stakeholders.
• Facilitate consultative collaborations with business units to bolster processes, control frameworks, and operational productivity.

Candidate Requirements

• Professional background in Internal Audit, Accounting, Finance, Risk Management, or related areas.
• Familiarity with auditing techniques, internal control systems, SOX compliance, and risk evaluation methodologies.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to convert data into valuable insights and solutions.
• Capability to work autonomously within a dynamic and rapidly changing environment.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to engage stakeholders efficiently.
• Meticulous attention to detail, structured approach, and sound judgment in decision-making.
• Experience or knowledge in data analytics software and AI tools such as Copilot, Claude, or ChatGPT is advantageous.
• Understanding of digital risks including cybersecurity, data governance, or system controls is beneficial.
• Ability to manage competing tasks and contribute to international audit projects when necessary.
