About the Role
Panda Express, a leading American Chinese restaurant brand, is seeking motivated Assistant Managers to support single store operations. This leadership role involves hiring, managing, and guiding associates to meet financial goals and deliver outstanding guest experiences. To prepare for success, new hires will undergo over three weeks of store leadership training and receive mentorship from the Panda community.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in overall store management including staffing, operations, and ensuring financial targets are achieved.
- Lead and direct associates to maintain exemplary customer service standards.
- Implement and uphold food safety and operational protocols.
- Drive store success through effective team leadership and operational oversight.
Qualifications & Requirements
- High school diploma mandatory.
- Candidate must be willing to relocate to any store within 50 miles of their current residence.
- Flexible availability for shifts including openings, closings, evenings, weekends, and holidays aligned with business needs.
- Current Serve Safe food safety certification required.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
- Work often occurs in hot, confined spaces with exposure to steam and food vapors.
- Prolonged standing for up to four hours is common.
- Ability to safely handle kitchen equipment such as Chinese cook knives and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Adaptability to a fast-paced, high noise level workspace with dynamic priorities.
- Effective verbal communication skills and capability to manage conflicts constructively.

- Hourly pay between $29 and $32, adjusted for location and experience.
