About the internship
About the Internship
Join a hands-on internship focusing on editing and annotating piping isometric (ISO) drawings using software tools like Adobe Acrobat and Bluebeam Revu. You'll prepare, modify, and mark up multi-sheet piping isometric PDFs according to the client's markup standards while ensuring consistency and accuracy throughout the project deliverables.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit multi-page piping isometric drawings following project-specific markup legends.
- Annotate welds, spool breaks, item numbers, and continuation references on drawings with callouts, stamps, text boxes, and color codes.
- Apply revision clouds, tags, and layers uniformly across all sheets in a drawing set.
- Ensure consistent placement, font size, color schemes, and layering to maintain uniformity in all sheets.
- Perform operations like splitting, merging, rotating, and re-exporting sheets in adherence to file naming conventions.
- Review completed sheets against a quality checklist and escalate any unclear or unreadable areas to the lead engineer.
- Keep daily records of work progress by tracking the number of sheets completed.
Training and Support
Comprehensive training on Bluebeam Revu, project markup legends, and quality control checklists will be provided during the first week. No previous experience in isometric drawing is necessary.
Candidate Eligibility
- Availability for a full-time in-office internship from August 25 to September 29, 2026, for a duration of three months.
- Must reside in Kolkata and be able to commit Monday through Saturday during the internship period (transitioning to five days a week after three months).
- Relevant skills and interest in engineering tasks, particularly in piping drawings.
- Open to women seeking to initiate or restart their careers and fresh graduates or final-year students in Mechanical, Civil, Production, Petroleum, or Chemical Engineering.
- Comfortable working extensively on computers with good mouse and keyboard control.
- Detail-focused, patient, and able to handle repetitive tasks with precision rather than speed.
