This opportunity is with Cereble, a firm focused on innovating consumer products that facilitate automation in sports and healthcare sectors. Their product, Fundook, is an advanced shooting sport powered by laser and AI technology, offering a completely safe and economical way to engage in the activity.
Internship Responsibilities
- Design and optimize 3D CAD parts and assemblies using Fusion 360's parametric and surface modeling features.
- Utilize GD&T standards, tolerance stack-up assessments, and Design for Manufacturing guidelines to enhance all designs.
- Manage prototype creation including preparation, operation, and finishing using FDM and SLA 3D printing processes.
- Conduct Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA) as well as tolerance checks to prevent potential design failures.
- Convert product needs and user narratives into comprehensive engineering drawings, Bills of Materials, tooling specifications, and Requests for Quotation.
- Engage in interdepartmental design reviews alongside teams from electrical, software, manufacturing, and quality assurance.
- Coordinate with external vendors for prototyping and injection molding to facilitate sample production, feedback collection, and tooling refinement.
- Maintain thorough documentation of design changes, version control within Fusion Team, and provide weekly progress presentations.
- Communicate effectively through reports and presentations while juggling multiple responsibilities under tight timelines.
- Develop and refine plastic injection parts by defining parting lines, draft angles, gate/runner configurations, and analyzing mold flow outcomes.
Eligibility and Application Requirements
- Candidates must commit to full-time, onsite internship starting between August 26 and September 30, 2026, lasting six months.
- Applicants should possess relevant skills and interests, preferably Mechanical Engineering students or fresh graduates.
- Prior participation in competitions like Robocon is favorable.
Compensation and Benefits
- Monthly stipend of ₹20,000.
- Internship includes perks such as a certificate, letter of recommendation, flexible working hours, informal dress code, five-day workweek, complimentary snacks and beverages, and the possibility of a job offer upon successful completion.
Additional Information
- Successful interns may receive a permanent role with an annual salary range of ₹400,000 to ₹700,000.
