Responsibilities

• Master utility locating methods, safety standards, and equipment operation through training.
• Gain knowledge of local utility systems and regulatory frameworks.

• Use specialized locating devices effectively to perform utility detection.
• Record and document findings with digital mapping tools.
• Work outdoors under various weather conditions.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States for the employer.
• Hold a High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work background.
• Possess a valid State driver's license (excluding provisional licenses) with a satisfactory motor vehicle record.

Physical Demands

• Work independently in isolated areas and perform tasks requiring arm elevation above shoulder height.
• Operate vehicles and perform fine motor skills, including keyboard and mouse use.
• Bend, stoop, stand, walk, and lift objects up to 55 pounds as part of daily duties.
• Occasionally use ladders, work in confined spaces, and climb stairs.
