UtiliQuest offers critical support to utility operators across the U.S. by preventing damage to underground infrastructure through reliable and timely locate services. Role Overview
As a Utility Locator, you'll be trained in safety protocols and locating techniques to identify underground utility lines. Working alongside seasoned locators, you'll employ specialized tools and record your findings to support safe and efficient construction projects.
Responsibilities
- Learn how to safely locate utilities and operate given equipment.
- Gain knowledge of local utility systems and regulations.
- Collaborate with experienced locators to mark underground utilities.
- Use utility locating technology and digital mapping to document findings.
- Perform duties outdoors in diverse weather conditions.
Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Authorized to work in the U.S. for this employer.
- Possess a High School Diploma, GED, or relevant work experience.
- Hold a valid non-provisional state driver’s license with a clean MVR record.
Physical Demands
- Frequently required: work alone remotely, lift up to 55 pounds, operate vehicle, perform fine motor tasks, bend, stoop, stand, walk, use computer peripherals.
- Occasionally expected: use portable ladders, work in confined spaces, climb stairs.

- Hourly wage between $20.00 and $22.00.
