Role Summary

The Task Associate is integral to ensuring outstanding operational execution in support of sales initiatives, creating an exceptional guest experience. Responsibilities include maintaining stocked fixtures, cleanliness, and following procedures, directly supporting Merchandise and Operations Managers in performance metrics, team collaboration, and compliance.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Help the store achieve or exceed retail targets by ensuring all tasks are completed and merchandise is available.
• Meet compliance and execution standards related to task management dashboards, timely completion of operations like shipments, replenishments, merchandise sets, and inventory processes.
• Maintain consistent, punctual attendance.
• Foster an inclusive, supportive atmosphere for coworkers and guests alike.
• Engage regularly in training for brand knowledge and skills enhancement to improve sales results.
• Ensure adherence to all company policies, procedures, standards, and dress code.
• Execute merchandise resets, planograms, marketing displays, inventory counts, and shipment processing using Ulta Beauty’s systems and best practices.
• Maintain operational excellence by keeping assigned areas replenished, organized, and well presented including tester availability.
• Uphold store cleanliness across sales floor, restrooms, cash wrap areas, backrooms, and employee break spaces.
• Safeguard company assets by following loss prevention protocols and providing excellent guest service.
• Perform additional operational tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• At least one year of relevant experience or a combination of education and experience favored.
• Comfortable with basic technology, such as Point of Sale systems and Apple devices.
• Capable of working both independently and cooperatively within a team.
• Problem-solving skills are essential.

Additional Requirements

• Availability to work flexible shifts including early mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and overnight hours.
• Physical stamina to remain mobile throughout the store, standing, bending, pushing, pulling, etc.
• Ability to lift, carry, or move objects weighing up to 25 pounds frequently during shifts.
• Perform manual coordination tasks continuously during work periods.

Compensation and Benefits

The hourly wage ranges from $17 to $25, based on qualifications, experience, shift, and location. Overtime pay is available where legally applicable. Full-time employees have access to paid time off and health benefits including dental, vision, life insurance, and disability coverage. Part-time employees receive dental, vision, life, and disability benefits.
