Responsibilities and Expectations
The role involves contributing to strategic areas with a forward-looking multi-year vision executed through incremental deliverables. The individual will deliver impactful customer solutions within a collaborative environment targeting complex backend systems.
Candidate Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, related fields, or equivalent hands-on experience.
- At least 10 years of professional experience developing production-level backend systems in Java, Scala, or C++.
- Strong skills in algorithms, data structures, and their practical applications.
- Experience building large-scale distributed systems and SaaS platforms or service-oriented architectures.
- Proficient with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, and container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Understanding of security concerns in systems handling sensitive data.
- Good command of SQL for data querying and manipulation.
Compensation
The role offers a competitive salary range of 173400 to 238350 CAD annually, reflecting fair and equitable compensation based on the applicant's skills, experience, certifications, and location. Additional benefits may include annual bonuses, equity participation, and comprehensive employee perks.
