Job description
Role Overview
We are seeking a Python Developer responsible for creating and supporting backend services and data pipelines used in live products. This role emphasizes writing clean, maintainable code with robust architecture to ensure ongoing reliability and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend services, APIs, and data pipelines using Python
- Produce clean, testable code adhering to modern Python development standards
- Design and implement RESTful or GraphQL APIs
- Optimize service performance and manage resource utilization
- Work collaboratively with product, data, and infrastructure teams
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to clear engineering documentation
Required Skills and Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience developing production Python applications
- Proficient with frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI
- Experience working with relational databases like PostgreSQL
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker)
- Competent using Git, continuous integration/deployment pipelines, and testing frameworks such as pytest
- Ability to pragmatically balance speed and quality in software delivery
