Finance Business Analyst (Remote)

Role Summary

We are recruiting a Finance Business Analyst to join our client's team on a full-time remote basis. This position invites finance professionals with substantial domain knowledge and analytical capabilities to collaborate with AI researchers, enhancing the effectiveness of financial AI models. Applicants will have the opportunity to apply their expertise across areas such as corporate finance, investment banking, accounting, FP&A, private equity, and consulting, even without previous AI experience.

Primary Responsibilities

• Assess AI-generated outputs related to finance tasks and detect areas needing improvement.
• Design structured scoring rubrics and evaluation frameworks focused on specialized topics like deal evaluation and mergers & acquisitions analysis.
• Work closely with finance experts and AI development teams to formulate training techniques and assessment methodologies.
• Establish benchmark standards to gauge financial model effectiveness in investment contexts.
• Deliver comprehensive and actionable feedback on AI model performance to enhance accuracy and reliability.

Qualifications and Skill Requirements

• Minimum of two years’ professional experience in investment banking, private equity, venture capital, financial planning & analysis, accounting, or financial consulting roles.
• Solid understanding of financial principles encompassing corporate finance, investment appraisal, asset management, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Proficient communication abilities in English, both written and spoken.
• Possession of CFA (any level), CA, CPA, or an MBA specializing in Finance is preferred.
• Equivalent professional certifications or on-the-job training experiences will be recognized.
