About the Team
Join Sea's Headquarters Finance team, a crucial department supporting accounting and finance operations for its key businesses — Garena, Shopee, and Monee — across multiple regional markets. The Data & Systems function within this department spearheads the creation, integration, and upkeep of enterprise finance applications that drive efficient and scalable processes through dependable system solutions. In this role, you will manage daily operations of enterprise resource planning (ERP) applications and associated finance systems organization-wide.
Job Description
- Act as the primary contact point for ERP-related inquiries, troubleshooting, and service requests from internal teams.
- Utilize diagnostic techniques and structured problem-solving to resolve system issues effectively.
- Maintain and support finance systems including the Oracle EBS R12 ERP and bespoke internal applications, handling configurations, setups, and managing user access permissions.
- Create and update both user-level and technical documentation, encompassing system modifications, configuration details, and troubleshooting manuals.
- Assist in advancing finance systems by conducting rigorous testing of new features, processes, and configurations, along with preparation of sign-off documents.
- Collaborate with Finance personnel to interpret business requirements, align them to system functionalities, and propose suitable technical solutions.
- Engage in project workstreams occasionally taking the lead and coordinate with Finance and IT stakeholders while maintaining communication on progress.
- Identify and recommend improvements or new solutions to meet current and future system needs utilizing both existing and emerging technologies.
- Support audit activities, including tasks related to SOX ITGC and ITAC compliance.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in fields such as Computer Science, Accountancy, Information Systems, or related disciplines.
- At least 1 year of experience in roles supporting ERP, Enterprise Performance Management (EPM), or Business Intelligence (BI) systems preferred; applicants with relevant internship experience may also be considered.
- Knowledge of programming languages such as SQL, VBA, or Python is advantageous.
- A demonstrated ability to rapidly comprehend both financial and technical concepts, with aptitude for on-the-job learning.
- Strong interpersonal capabilities to collaborate effectively with cross-functional and business teams.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of understanding and explaining complex concepts internally across stakeholders.
- Analytical thinker with a problem-solving orientation and keen attention to detail.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently when necessary, while also being a dependable team player.
Minimum education
Bachelor's Degree
