Job description
Role Overview
As a Solution Architect, you serve as the technical backbone of our presales efforts. You develop a deep understanding of how project developers or asset managers handle real estate projects commercially, examining the relationships between budgets, costs, payment authorizations, and financing. You explore how the company generates revenue and identify leverage points for AI application today.
This expertise enables you to craft robust solution architectures tailored specifically to each client, ensuring customer interactions feel custom-made for their business.
Clients quickly recognize when explanations lack depth; your role delivers structure, depth, and genuine industry insight that influences deal outcomes. Insights from workshops and deep dives feed directly back to the product team, shaping how we scale our product at Alasco.
Primary Responsibilities
- Guide the technical aspects of the sales process from discovery through customized demonstrations to solution architectures aligned with the customer’s system landscape.
- Lead detailed discovery workshops and technical deep dives with prospects, assessing technical feasibility.
- Design scalable solution architectures including integration, configuration, and implementation recommendations.
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Customer Success, and Product teams to relay customer insights into product development.
- Create reusable templates, playbooks, and reference architectures to support internal teams broadly.
- Share your technical expertise with Sales, Customer Success, and Support teams to enhance their capabilities.
Qualifications and Experience
- Degree in Business Informatics, Real Estate Management, or a related field.
- Experience in customer-facing presales roles such as Consultant, Sales Engineer, or Solution Architect.
- Proficiency with SaaS platforms and contemporary web technologies.
- Ability to translate business processes into digital solutions and communicate complex concepts clearly.
- Experience working with enterprise clients and cross-functional collaboration.
- Fluent in both German and English, with strong negotiation language skills.
Preferred Additional Experience
- Background in real estate or construction industries is a plus.
What We Offer
- Long-term success participation via our Virtual Stock Option Plan (VSOP), allowing you to share in the company's growth.
- An annual education budget of €2,000 and three educational days to develop your skills as you choose.
- AI-powered tools integrated into daily work to boost efficiency and concentrate efforts on deal creation.
- 28 vacation days annually to balance ambitious goals with personal downtime.
- A monthly subsidy of €40 for mobility and fitness services like Navit or Wellpass.
- Company and team events that foster community and celebrate joint achievements beyond business metrics.
About Alasco
