Job description
Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced AI Engineer to join a global technology leader. This full-time remote position offers an opportunity to create, refine, and implement machine learning models for practical applications. The role requires partnership with multidisciplinary teams to embed AI solutions into production systems, enhancing model effectiveness through continuous experimentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and improve machine learning models utilizing frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn.
- Work alongside data scientists and software developers on dataset preprocessing, feature engineering, and accuracy validation.
- Implement AI models in scalable production settings ensuring rapid inference and optimized resource use.
- Track live model performance, detect any declines, and set up retraining workflows to uphold precision.
- Participate in conceptualizing AI-powered products like recommendation engines, computer vision solutions, and NLP tools.
Qualifications and Skills
- Strong expertise in Python and proficiency with machine learning libraries including TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn.
- Practical experience in data preprocessing, feature creation, and assessment using model evaluation metrics.
- Working knowledge of cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Understanding of MLOps methodologies including model version control, continuous integration/deployment pipelines, and monitoring systems.
- Familiarity with distributed computing tools like Spark and Dask for managing large datasets.
