Senior Solution Architect - Managed Services MEA

Overview

This Senior Solution Architect position is primarily office-based in Dubai, focused on delivering Hewlett Packard Enterprise's (HPE) Managed Services and Hybrid Cloud solutions. The role involves collaborating with sales teams, partners, and customers to architect and propose tailored managed service offerings including Hybrid Cloud Management, AI-driven Private Cloud, HPE Greenlake Managed Services, and SAP HANA solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Utilize technical expertise to design and propose Hybrid Cloud Managed Services solutions aligned with customer business challenges.
• Build and maintain professional relationships across customer and internal teams to understand business requirements deeply.
• Customize solutions and coordinate with internal and external experts to anticipate and address customer needs effectively.
• Revise solution designs to accommodate client feedback and emerging opportunities or issues.
• Facilitate smooth transitions from sales to implementation teams.
• Develop financial models reflecting service costs and customer pricing structures.
• Manage multiple concurrent solution opportunities with agility.

Objectives

• Serve as the trusted technical authority alongside HPE sales teams.
• Assess customer needs and propose optimal HPE service solutions to ensure customer success.
• Prepare compelling sales proposals, pricing models, and presentations.
• Link business challenges explicitly to IT solutions.
• Identify, preempt, and address potential technical or project risks.
• Effectively compete by educating customers on HPE values and differentiators.
• Ensure smooth operational handoffs from sales to implementation.
• Engage with peers and partners to promote HPE technology and benefits.

Required Education and Experience

• Minimum 15 years’ experience in a Managed Services setting, holding a similar role.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
• Advanced degrees (Master’s or above) in a relevant domain preferred.

Knowledge and Skills

• Expertise in interpreting business challenges and architecting service-oriented platform solutions accordingly.
• Proven design and deployment experience in medium to large IT solutions across various technologies.
• Strong capability to architect IT transformation strategies aligned with customer visions.
• Familiarity with Managed Services domains including AI-Ops, Agentic AI, DevOps, and ITIL frameworks.
• Ability to develop statements of work, project plans, and collaborate on project execution with clear impact.
• Competence in business development, including solution selling, proposal development, and competitive positioning.
• Leadership skills in mentoring architects, participating in solution communities, and collaborating across geographies.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills tailored for diverse stakeholder audiences.
