About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and driven Valeter to join our Motorstore team in Preston. As a Valeter, you will play a vital role in making sure all vehicles are impeccably cleaned and presented to the highest standards.

Working Hours

Full-time schedule including Monday through Thursday from 8:00 am to 5:30 pm, Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, and alternate Saturdays from 8:00 am to noon.

Primary Responsibilities

• Thoroughly cleaning both sold and stock vehicles to maintain a pristine appearance
• Using high-powered pressure washers for exterior vehicle cleaning
• Employing high-powered vacuums and shampooing techniques to detail vehicle interiors
• Operating polishing and buffing machinery to improve vehicle bodywork
• Adhering strictly to health and safety standards, particularly handling chemicals safely
• Maintaining and securely storing equipment and machinery; promptly reporting any defects
• Meeting set productivity targets and deadlines
• Utilizing an online diary to organize and track vehicle cleaning schedules
• Documenting daily completed work records
• Performing additional support duties as required within the branch

Essential Qualifications and Attributes

• Valid full UK driving licence
• Basic proficiency with computers
• Exceptional attention to detail and thoroughness
• Self-driven with strong team collaboration skills
• Ability to multitask effectively
• Willingness to engage in training and skills development

Additional Information

Experience as a valet is advantageous but not mandatory; comprehensive training is available for candidates who demonstrate enthusiasm and meet core criteria. New valet team members will participate in the Arnold Clark Valet Academy.
