Role Overview

This position in the Threat Intelligence Research & Analysis (TIRA) team, within the Cyber Security Group (CSG), offers a challenging and fulfilling opportunity for a detail-oriented and analytical professional. The role demands identification, analysis, and monitoring of advanced and emerging cyber threats targeting the Singapore Government. The candidate will transform research findings into actionable intelligence to support Whole-of-Government detection and response efforts.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough research into advanced threat actors, examining their tactics, techniques, procedures (TTPs), victim profiles, and motivations to assist operational teams in creating detection mechanisms and adversary simulations.
• Assist investigations by providing context to identified indicators and synthesizing insights to generate intelligence assessments.
• Integrate data from diverse intelligence sources to recognize trends and patterns, advising defense measures against relevant threats.
• Develop and deliver accurate, timely intelligence briefings, reports, and products tailored for technical and executive stakeholders.
• Assess and suggest tools and analytical methods to enhance research and analytic capabilities.
• Maintain current knowledge on cyber threat developments through continuous monitoring of intelligence feeds and participation in industry events.

Candidate Requirements

• Exceptional research and analytical abilities, including critical and contextual thinking.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or related disciplines is strongly preferred.
• Certifications such as GCIH, GCTI, GREM, or CISSP are advantageous.
• Relevant experience in cybersecurity domains like threat intelligence, incident response, malware analysis, or risk assessment is preferred.
• Familiarity with cyber threat analysis frameworks such as the cyber kill chain, diamond model, or MITRE ATT&CK is desirable.
• Applicants must hold Singapore citizenship.
