About the Role
Happiest Minds Technologies, a mindful IT company focused on enabling digital transformation through disruptive technologies, is looking for a seasoned Senior Azure Infrastructure Engineer based in Bengaluru, India. The ideal professional will have between 5 to 8 years of experience specializing in Azure deployment and infrastructure management with a strong command of cloud technologies to design, build, and maintain scalable, secure enterprise infrastructure aligned with business requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Create detailed architecture diagrams illustrating components, connectivity, and network configurations tailored to application needs.
- Maintain and update comprehensive low-level design documentation.
- Deploy infrastructure resources primarily utilizing Terraform automation tools.
- Drive new initiatives related to DPS-Enterprise Workstream products.
- Ensure infrastructure solutions uphold high standards of stability, scalability, security, and compliance per Pru GISP guidelines.
- Engage and coordinate with development teams and other stakeholders to plan, validate, and review infrastructure components.
- Maintain an accurate inventory of infrastructure assets and resources.
- Analyze and review infrastructure-related expenditures for cost efficiency.
- Research and assess emerging technologies to optimize cloud infrastructure performance and capabilities.
- Implement solutions with high availability and robust disaster recovery mechanisms.
- Document all implementation processes and create accessible "How to" guides for reference.
Required Skills & Expertise
- Proficient in Azure platform deployments including Data Factory, Data Lake, Databricks, Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Azure Key Vault, SQL Server, Azure Active Directory, Self-Hosted Integration Runtime, and administration of both Windows and Linux virtual machines.
- Familiar with Power BI Desktop/Workspace and Power Automate tools.
- Experienced with Infrastructure as Code utilizing Terraform, Azure DevOps pipelines, and Jenkins automation.
- Strong scripting skills in Python and PowerShell for automation and operational tasks.
- Understanding of IP network segmentation and DNS configuration.
- Hands-on experience using Azure CLI, Terraform, and Bash scripting.
- Knowledgeable in implementing security measures including audit logging, firewall configuration, and certificate management.
- Experience with hybrid networking approaches such as Cloud VPN and Interconnect solutions.
- Mandatory prior experience working with Azure DevOps services.
Preferred Skills
- Experience working with JIRA for issue tracking, Confluence for documentation, and ServiceNow for IT service management.
Educational Qualifications & Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering (B.E./B.Tech), or related discipline.
- Certifications such as Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104), AZ-204, Azure DevOps Engineer, or Azure AI Fundamentals are advantageous.
