Overview

We are looking for a contract Data Analyst with strong Python and PL/SQL expertise to work remotely on a flexible schedule. The role is focused on turning large, complex datasets into insights that can guide business decisions. Compensation is set at $30 to $100 per hour, and the expected workload is 10 to 40 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities

Work through large volumes of data to identify trends, patterns, and practical insights that align with business goals.
Create, tune, and support sophisticated PL/SQL queries for efficient data retrieval and manipulation.
Use Python to automate tasks, clean datasets, and perform deeper statistical analysis.
Prepare clear reports and visual dashboards that help stakeholders understand the findings.
Partner with distributed teams to clarify data needs and deliver analytics-backed solutions.
Maintain accuracy, reliability, and consistency of data across different sources and systems.

Requirements

A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a closely related discipline is required.
At least 3 years of professional experience as a Data Analyst or in a comparable analytical position.
Strong hands-on ability with Python for analysis, scripting, and automation.
Advanced PL/SQL knowledge for extracting, transforming, and handling data is essential.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are needed to present complex information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
