Control M Administrator

About the Role

Tata Consultancy Services is seeking an experienced Control M Administrator for their Hyderabad location. This role requires hands-on expertise in Control-M administration and scheduling with a strong focus on various Control-M modules and integrations.

Key Responsibilities

• Planning and overseeing job scheduling activities effectively.
• Creating and configuring new jobs within Control-M according to project requirements.
• Scheduling jobs involving Managed File Transfer (MFT) and AWS Step Functions.
• Monitoring and managing job execution to meet client specifications.
• Troubleshooting and resolving any job-related issues promptly.
• Developing connection profiles and setting up necessary system variables.
• Utilizing CLI or REST APIs for job building, execution, and testing on Control-M instances.
• Designing and applying workload policies to optimize performance.
• Providing on-call technical support during weekends.
• Preparing custom reports and maintaining documentation related to operations.

Required Skills and Competencies

• Comprehensive understanding of Control-M architecture.
• Proficiency in Control-M Administration versions 9.20 and 9.21.
• Hands-on experience with Control-M for Managed File Transfer (MFT), AWS integrations, and Application Integration.
• Familiarity with Control-M Automation API.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of ITIL processes to support IT service management.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with both onshore and offshore teams.
• Good communication skills to coordinate with stakeholders.
• Understanding of Control-M Helix platform.
• Experience with AWS cloud services.

Additional Information

The selection process involves a face-to-face weekend walk-in interview scheduled for September 26th. Candidates must be currently located in Hyderabad to be eligible. This is a full-time onsite position based in Hyderabad, Telangana, India.
