Associate Project Manager – Securing the Future Programme

Role overview

This position sits within the Securing the Future Programme Team and reports to the Workforce Workstream Lead. The post requires close day-to-day coordination with clinical, non-clinical, estates, digital, and business change colleagues to make sure programme needs, technical requirements, and Trust priorities are all aligned.

The role suits someone with strong project management experience gained in complex settings or across large programmes. Experience in healthcare would be useful, though it is not mandatory. You should bring excellent planning, organising, and coordination abilities, along with confident stakeholder engagement and communication. The ability to work through complexity, manage risk, and support informed decisions is important. A proactive, solutions-led approach and a collaborative style are key.

Core responsibilities

The main areas of responsibility for this post are programme and project delivery, stakeholder communication, risk and change management, and programme governance and reporting.
