Role Overview

We are in search of a highly capable Full Stack Developer to join our Global Trading team. This position requires proficiency in both front-end and back-end software development with a focus on building and maintaining scalable, high-performing applications that support trading operations. You will contribute innovative solutions and collaborate effectively within our team.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain web applications using contemporary front-end and back-end technologies.
• Ensure high code quality, maintain proper organization, and develop automation where appropriate.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum of three years in professional software development roles.
• Strong skills in front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React or Angular.
• Back-end development expertise with Node.js, Python, or similar programming languages.
• Experience managing databases using SQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Services.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities to work collaboratively with both internal teams and external customers.
• Innovative mindset coupled with strong analytical capabilities.
• Ability to adapt to shifting priorities and manage workload effectively under pressure.
• Willingness to continuously learn and adopt new technologies and development practices.

Preferred Skills and Additional Experience

• Prior experience in the oil and gas sector, especially in trading operations, is highly valued.
• Understanding of market data, trading platforms, and financial instruments associated with oil and gas trading.
• Professional certifications related to relevant technologies or approaches.
• Demonstrated experience with database architecture, query optimization, and data pipeline management.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and strong command of database administration.
• Expertise in at least one major programming language, with a preference for Python.
• Experience using Databricks and Snowflake platforms.
• Strong grasp of web application performance optimization, security protocols, and development best practices.
