About the Role

Poppulo is at the forefront of transforming workplace communications and experiences through innovative software solutions. Our platform supports over 6,000 organizations worldwide, connecting more than 35 million employees and managing content for over 500,000 digital signs. We are searching for a skilled Implementation Engineer to join our team in Cork, Ireland. The ideal candidate will drive deployment, testing, and configuration of digital signage and related solutions, ensuring alignment with client business objectives while delivering exceptional service and technical support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up and configure customer solutions for new projects and maintain existing client environments.
  • Create technical configurations and perform scripting or programming to facilitate client onboarding to our cloud platform.
  • Advise customers on system features, implementation best practices, and platform capabilities, fostering smooth adoption.
  • Provide regular updates on implementation progress and technical statuses to internal teams and client stakeholders.
  • Establish and nurture strong customer relationships through prompt, high-quality communication throughout implementation phases.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including configuration records and knowledge base materials.
  • Support integration efforts with customer and third-party systems via APIs, web services, URL calls, or other integration approaches.
  • Manage technical components across assigned implementation projects and collaborate with senior engineers on complex tasks.
  • Conduct customer training sessions to drive successful uptake of implemented solutions.
  • Troubleshoot deployment and go-live issues and escalate more intricate problems as necessary.
  • Coordinate onboarding activities, including connectivity and number management services essential for successful implementations.
  • Work alongside senior engineers on advanced integration tasks involving custom scripting and complex technical challenges.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience implementing solutions in cloud computing environments.
  • Deep understanding of software deployment and implementation methodologies.
  • Experience supporting deployments across Windows desktop, iOS/Android, and IoT devices.
  • Familiarity with fundamental networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, and wireless technologies.
  • Basic knowledge of audiovisual systems and device connectivity.
  • Experience using deployment automation tools including SCCM, PDQ Deploy, BigFix, Group Policy (GPO), ConnectWise Automate, or scripting with PowerShell/DSC.
  • Some exposure to REST API usage, web services, and system integration techniques.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities with meticulous attention to detail.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is gross €35,000 to €50,000 annually, supplemented by variable compensation. Exact salary depends on qualifications, experience, competencies, and geographic location.
