Steward - Full Time

Overview

Flik Hospitality Group is actively seeking to fill a full-time Steward role at The Knight Center in Saint Louis, MO. This position focuses on sustaining cleanliness and orderliness within kitchen environments and supporting chefs as needed. The role operates primarily on a full-time schedule with shifts generally from 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm, though days may vary. Applicants must have prior experience with kitchen utility tasks such as cleaning pots, pans, floors, and assisting chefs preferred. Training will be provided as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain safety and sanitation standards by regularly sweeping and mopping floors.
• Operate industrial equipment including dishwashers, trash compactors, and sanitizers.
• Clean and sanitize worktables, walls, refrigerators, and other food preparation surfaces.
• Manage trash segregation, removal, and sanitation of containers and designated areas.
• Wash dishes, cooking vessels, utensils, and food preparation equipment efficiently.
• Transport supplies and equipment between storage and work areas following safe lifting protocols.
• Assist with banquet setups and front-of-house arrangements upon request.
• Handle supply deliveries, loading/unloading tasks, and distribute portable equipment as required.
• Comply fully with all sanitation, safety, and operational guidelines.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support team operations.

Compensation and Benefits
