Role Overview

A leading technology consultancy seeks an accomplished Solution Architect to design scalable and secure enterprise systems, drive application modernization, and collaborate with engineering teams alongside senior stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities and Experience

• Architecting solutions within enterprise settings, focusing on scalability and security.
• Leveraging strong Java development expertise with a solid background in enterprise application architecture.
• Designing microservices, APIs, integration frameworks, and distributed architectures.
• Leading modernization initiatives, migrating applications from monolithic to microservices structures.
• Utilizing container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes or Red Hat OpenShift.
• Implementing API design, integration strategies, and event-driven architecture principles.
• Managing architecture governance processes, enforcing standards, and conducting design reviews.
• Engaging with senior technical and business leaders to present designs and strategies.
• Evaluating emerging technologies to select fitting tools and frameworks.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Geographic Information System (GIS) tools like ArcGIS or GeoServer.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms including Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Understanding of DevOps practices, Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD), and Infrastructure as Code approaches.
