About the Role
Join a leading transformation company as a Software Architect focusing on .NET and Azure technologies in Dublin. This position involves hybrid work with three days per week onsite at the client office. You will have the chance to lead software design initiatives, collaborate with key stakeholders, and apply cutting-edge Microsoft Azure cloud technologies in a dynamic and innovative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect the overall software structure, ensuring scalability, security, performance, and maintainability.
- Lead and facilitate architectural discussions involving product managers, technical leads, and project stakeholders.
- Ensure that the software architecture aligns with organizational standards, business objectives, and scalability requirements.
- Translate complex business needs into robust technical solutions.
- Mentor junior architects and developer teams to foster their growth and technical expertise.
- Review code and provide technical guidance to development teams.
- Define and uphold coding standards and best practices.
- Identify potential architectural risks and implement mitigation plans.
- Ensure adherence to software development standards across projects.
- Validate new software development candidates and provide mentoring support as needed.
- Assist with troubleshooting project or support-related technical issues.
- Recommend strategic directions and perform proof of concepts for software development roadmaps.
- Select and evaluate appropriate technologies, frameworks, and tools to enhance software architecture.
Candidate Profile
- Vast experience in C#, .NET Framework, .NET Core, and Azure development paradigms.
- Proficient knowledge of SQL Server, Entity Framework, SonarQube, Azure DevOps, REST APIs, Azure PaaS solutions, accessibility standards, and non-functional requirements.
- Proven history of designing and delivering complex software systems successfully.
- Deep understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, and current industry trends.
- Strong technical foundation across various frameworks and programming languages.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities to effectively guide teams and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to balance business goals with technical excellence and long-term sustainability.
Additional Skills (Preferred)
Working knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, jQuery, JavaScript, and React is advantageous.
