Role Overview

As a Senior Fullstack Developer in our AI & Technology team based in Bangalore, you will architect, develop, and deliver full-stack features from backend to frontend. You'll support AI infrastructure, collaborate closely with colleagues, assist with DevOps, and mentor peers, all while enabling the business to advance technologically.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and deploy comprehensive functionalities using Python and FastAPI on the backend paired with React on the frontend.
• Develop asynchronous APIs designed for robust database performance and strong security measures.
• Manage and optimize containerized microservices through Docker ensuring production readiness.
• Build modern front-end interfaces utilizing Next.js, Vite, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, Shadcn, and TanStack React Query for effective state management.
• Incorporate external AI solutions including OpenAI APIs directly into live products.
• Leverage AI-powered coding aids like GitHub Copilot to boost speed without sacrificing quality.
• Identify and resolve architectural challenges and performance issues across systems.
• Maintain thorough testing procedures to guarantee code reliability and comprehensive coverage.
• Conduct detailed code reviews, providing constructive guidance to fellow developers.
• Continuously update technical documentation for team accessibility.
• Collaborate with AI engineers to launch and stabilize backend infrastructure supporting PC and mobile tools.
• Assist the DevOps group in maintaining AWS setups and deployment workflows as operational demands increase.
• Provide mentorship and share expertise to foster team growth within a flat organizational structure.
• Participate in discussions on scalability and system architecture, influencing decisions without formal managerial duties.
• Communicate relevant updates and concerns to the Head of Engineering promptly.
• Adhere strictly to company policies, strategies, and operational processes.
• Perform any additional tasks assigned as needed.

Essential Qualifications and Skills

• A minimum of 5 years experience designing asynchronous APIs using Python and FastAPI frameworks.
• Strong understanding of database schema design, server-side security protocols, and data protection techniques.
• Proven ability to deploy and operate Docker-based microservices in production environments.
• Experience with cloud services and infrastructure, preferably AWS platform.
• Comfortable using Git with collaborative code review workflows.
• Daily use of AI-assisted coding technologies, especially GitHub Copilot within VS Code.
• Advanced skills in React ecosystem focusing on Next.js, Vite, and TypeScript.
• Experienced with styling frameworks such as Tailwind CSS and Shadcn, alongside state management via TanStack React Query.
• Direct experience integrating third-party AI platforms like OpenAI APIs into running software solutions.

Ownership and Delivery

• Ability to analyze and fix architectural or performance challenges independently.
• Regularly write comprehensive tests and conduct rigorous code reviews as standard practice.
• Deliver high-quality features consistently, coordinating efforts across different time zones.
• Hands-on tracking and end-to-end delivery of both frontend and backend application components.

Mentorship and Team Collaboration

• Passionate about coaching peers to elevate team skills without holding direct managerial responsibilities.
• Willingness to support DevOps and infrastructure management as part of routine tasks.
