Senior Dotnet Developer

Job Objective

The role aims to onboard a skilled .NET Workflow Developer within IT to closely collaborate with the Operations Department for building new workflow applications and enhancing existing ones. This individual will partner with Operations Business Process Management and users to support the entire delivery cycle from requirement analysis through development, testing assistance, deployment coordination, and stabilization post-launch.

Responsibilities

• Develop new workflow applications based on approved business requirements and process design documents.
• Upgrade existing workflow applications to optimize routing, validation, approval controls, user experience, reporting, and integration with other systems.
• Manage workflow configuration including role/group mapping, task assignment logic, and user access coordination.
• Collaborate with IT architecture, user services, middleware, security, and infrastructure teams for integration or technical dependencies.
• Assist Operations with technical feasibility studies, impact analysis, development effort estimation, and solution design.
• Provide support for system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), defect fixing, deployment to production, and stabilization after go-live.
• Maintain comprehensive technical documentation including deployment notes, configuration details, and knowledge transfer records.

Required Skills and Experience

• Proficient in .NET application development, particularly with ASP.NET, C#, MVC or Web Forms, Web API, and related Microsoft stack technologies.
• Experienced in building workflow or business process management (BPM) applications involving approval routing, task assignments, role-based access control, and process automation.
• Knowledgeable in SQL Server or similar databases, familiar with stored procedures, data validation, and crafting reporting queries.
• Understanding of REST API integration, middleware components, authentication mechanisms, logging, and error handling best practices.
• Ability to convert business requirements into well-defined functional workflow designs and technical specs.
• Familiarity with secure coding standards, application control measures, audit trails, segregation of duties principles, and banking technology regulatory compliance.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with Operations users, IT teams, quality assurance groups, and project stakeholders.
• Minimum of five years professional experience in relevant roles and technologies.
