About the Team

IW Technology is dedicated to enhancing the design of wind turbine gearboxes. It aids design departments by outlining verification methodologies. The Process & Data team within IW Technology focuses on optimizing the design workflow through automation of calculations, centralizing data, and standardizing procedures. This international team is led from Germany with members currently based in Coimbatore, India.

Job Role and Responsibilities

• Serve as the global authority in manufacturing technology for bolt tensioning, owning the related knowledge domain.
• Maintain and drive standards while promoting continuous improvements through efficient cross-plant collaboration by leading the best practice team for this specialty.
• Function as the primary point of contact for other departments concerning new developments, guiding projects from Manufacturing Readiness Level 1 to 9.
• Provide expert support to operations including training and serve as the final escalation point.

Candidate Profile

• Possess a Master's degree in Engineering.
• Have at least 10 to 15 years of relevant experience in a related technological field, including experience leading matrix teams.
• Act as a liaison across departments for expertise-related matters.
• Demonstrate thorough understanding of operational processes.
• Exhibit strong communication skills and willingness to travel approximately 5 times per year.
