MicroStation Technician - Roads & Infrastructure

About the Role

We are searching for a proficient MicroStation Technician to join our Roads & Infrastructure design team based in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating, developing, and maintaining precise engineering drawings and technical documentation related to roads, highways, and associated civil infrastructure projects using MicroStation and AutoCAD platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and update engineering drawings, including plans, profiles, sections, and construction/Issued for Construction (IFC) drawings for road and infrastructure projects.
• Maintain accuracy by applying appropriate scales, coordinate systems, levels, dimensions, layers, and adhering to CAD drafting standards.
• Work collaboratively with engineering consultants to support project design requirements.
• Ensure compliance with UAE and GCC road and infrastructure design standards, with attention to local authority requirements especially within Abu Dhabi.

Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma or certificate in Civil Engineering, CAD drafting, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in CAD drafting focused on Roads & Infrastructure projects.
• Demonstrated strong practical skills in MicroStation (mandatory) and AutoCAD (mandatory).
• Experience working on roads, highways, and civil engineering consultancy projects is essential.
• Familiarity with UAE/GCC project procedures and standards; Abu Dhabi-specific infrastructure projects experience is considered advantageous.
