Mechanical Engineer

About the Role

This mechanical engineering role focuses on residential high-rise building projects, requiring collaboration and coordination with various teams to ensure successful mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) works.

Key Duties

• Evaluate project designs and recommend improvements for MEP design processes.
• Analyze Bills of Quantities (BoQ) and Work Orders (WO) to confirm scope coverage and adequacy of quantities in alignment with project designs.
• Oversee and execute MEP works with vendors following the construction schedule and Good for Construction (GFC) drawings.
• Ensure project progress meets targets while maintaining quality standards and site safety.
• Coordinate between Civil & Structural (C&S), Finishes, and other vendors on-site to streamline operations.
• Liaise between Central Design teams and project teams for smooth execution.
• Support tender processes including reviewing drawings, BoQ preparation, vendor negotiations, invoice certifications, and record maintenance.
