Role Overview

We seek a high-performing individual to join IMDA's Procurement Unit, leading transformational changes in procurement policies, systems, and processes. The role entails championing the integration of data analytics and technological innovations to enhance automation, service delivery, and procurement support for line divisions to meet IMDA’s objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Offer prompt and strategic advice to stakeholders to ensure procurement activities are conducted efficiently and effectively, including guidance on contract management.
• Critically assess procurement submissions such as sourcing documents and recommendation papers.
• Collaborate as part of a team to implement projects utilizing advanced technologies like Agentic AI, Robotic Process Automation (RPA), and Vibe Coding to improve user experience and processes.
• Analyze procurement data, creating dashboards to identify trends and forecasts to facilitate informed decision-making, demand aggregation, and timely operational interventions.
• Develop and update systems or programs aimed at increasing users’ procurement knowledge.
• Partner with internal audit teams to support audit reviews, recommending enhancements to policies, processes, and systems.

Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum of five years’ experience in government procurement, demonstrating extensive hands-on familiarity with GeBIZ; experience with Workday is a plus.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and effectively engage with management at all levels.
• Resourceful and adaptable to dynamic environments; meticulous, independent, and a motivated team player.
• Strong communication, analytical thinking, writing, problem-solving, and project/contract management capabilities.
• Experience with implementation of GenAI, Agentic AI, or RPA initiatives.
