Job Summary
This role involves core Java development coupled with expertise in APIs, cloud environments, and frontend using React. The candidate will be expected to develop RESTful services leveraging popular Java frameworks while utilizing various database technologies and cloud platforms. A commitment to clean coding standards and Agile development practices is essential.
Primary Responsibilities
- Write and maintain Java applications and APIs suitable for cloud deployment and integration with React frontends.
- Create RESTful APIs employing frameworks such as Spring.
- Work extensively with databases including Oracle, SQL, and NoSQL solutions like MongoDB.
- Manage cloud infrastructure and services using Openshift and Kubernetes platforms.
- Implement and operate messaging systems including MQ and Kafka.
- Apply clean code principles to ensure maintainable and high-quality codebases.
- Participate actively in the full software development lifecycle and Agile team processes.
- Understand and utilize DevOps concepts and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
