Role Overview

We are recruiting an IT Technician for the Cahir office in County Tipperary, reporting directly to the IT Manager. The role involves collaborating closely with Production and Operations teams to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair software and hardware systems across the factory.

Key Responsibilities

• Adhere strictly to all on-site health, safety, food safety, and environmental regulations and statutory requirements.
• Perform IT process troubleshooting and support across various systems.
• Conduct repairs on IT equipment related to food processing, handling, and packaging machinery.
• Provide technical assistance for plant facility systems such as CCTV, evacuation, and time management technologies.
• Perform basic repairs on hardware, printers, and workstations.
• Execute and document scheduled maintenance and preventive upkeep activities on equipment.

Candidate Profile

• Possess a Level 6 IT qualification or higher.
• Proficient in Windows operating systems and standard computer applications.
• Strong organizational and communication abilities.
• Capable of working effectively under pressure in a dynamic environment.
• Demonstrate initiative and accountability in resolving issues.
• Willingness to travel between sites for training sessions.
• Genuine enthusiasm for technology and computing.
