This role is for a managerial position at a restaurant operated by an independent franchisee licensed to use McDonald's branding and products. The franchisee acts as the employer and handles all employment-related activities such as hiring, supervision, and scheduling, independent of McDonald's USA.
Job Summary
The General Manager position involves managing the restaurant to ensure profitability while upholding McDonald’s established standards for Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. The role includes setting clear objectives, developing plans to meet those goals, and leading a team of Assistant and Shift Managers by providing coaching and guidance to enhance departmental performance and overall restaurant success.
Responsibilities
- Run a profitable restaurant while maintaining McDonald’s quality and cleanliness standards.
- Collaborate with leadership to set and achieve restaurant goals.
- Lead and support Assistant and Shift Managers in their responsibilities.
- Coach and provide direction to improve departmental operations.
- Recruit and develop managerial staff to build a strong leadership team.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate has prior experience as a General Manager in high-volume quick service restaurants or similar sectors such as hospitality or retail. Candidates must be at least 18 years old to qualify.
