Full-stack Engineer (React/TypeScript)

About the Role

Evolution Singapore is seeking a skilled Full Stack Engineer experienced in React and TypeScript to develop robust, high-efficiency, data-driven applications tailored for the financial services sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, construct, and sustain modern web applications utilizing React and TypeScript technologies.
• Lead core segments of the software development process including design, implementation, testing, rollout, and maintenance in live environments.
• Create scalable and reusable UI component libraries to enhance consistency and speed in delivery.
• Develop fast, responsive user interfaces capable of handling intricate and heavy data-centric workflows.
• Collaborate closely with business partners, analysts, financial specialists, risk teams, and engineers to interpret complex requirements into accessible software solutions.
• Connect front-end systems with APIs, live and batch data sources, backend infrastructures, analytics tools, and external platforms.
• Design and implement advanced visualizations and interactive user flows for detailed financial and analytical information.
• Support backend service development as needed and influence the future direction of application architecture and engineering practices.

Candidate Requirements

• At least three years of professional development experience, specifically with production-grade React and TypeScript applications.
• Deep knowledge of contemporary front-end structures, component engineering, state handling, asynchronous operations, and optimizing performance.
• Demonstrated ability in delivering complex applications that prioritize usability, speed, stability, and accuracy.
• Strong full-stack capabilities, adept at integrating user interfaces with APIs, backend logic, databases, and distributed systems.
• Experience managing and visualizing complex data sets, including dashboards, grids, and charts tailored to analytical functions.
• Track record of building and scaling products within a technology-driven, product-centric environment.
• Hands-on experience with automated test suites, continuous integration/delivery pipelines, cloud technologies, DevOps methodologies, and live production monitoring.
• Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with senior leadership and cross-functional teams including engineering and business stakeholders.
