Facility Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for a seasoned Facility Engineer to join our Qatar-based team. The ideal candidate must hold a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and a valid UPDA Certification, possessing a minimum of five years' experience focused on Facility Management and a solid MEP expertise. This role will entail supervising the upkeep and operations of our facilities to ensure optimal functionality and efficiency.

Primary Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections to detect maintenance requirements within the facility.
• Design and execute preventive and corrective maintenance strategies.
• Liaise with contractors and suppliers for maintenance and repair services.
• Diagnose and resolve facility-related technical issues promptly.
• Ensure adherence to safety and environmental standards and regulations.
• Maintain precise documentation and reporting of facility operations and maintenance activities.
• Oversee and control budgets associated with facility maintenance and operational expenses.
• Lead and mentor the facility maintenance personnel effectively.
• Communicate clearly with colleagues, management, and various stakeholders.
• Work closely with different departments to guarantee smooth facility operations.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering is mandatory.
• Must have a valid UPDA Certification.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in Facility Management.
• Strong background in Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems.
• Knowledgeable in both preventive and corrective maintenance methods.
• Excellent aptitude for troubleshooting and solving facility-related problems.
• Proven leadership skills along with effective communication and coordination capabilities.
