Key Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with everyday tasks such as cooking, cleaning, personal hygiene, grooming, and transportation.

• Encourage autonomy, decision-making, and self-advocacy skills.
• Maintain precise documentation of care activities and progress.

Candidate Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Pass a background check and complete necessary training.
• Hold a valid driver’s license, have reliable transportation, and proof of insurance.
• Demonstrate the ability to work safely and respectfully in clients' homes and communities.
• Show compassion, dependability, and a strong commitment to positively impacting others.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience assisting individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities or autism.
• Knowledge of behavior support techniques such as redirection, visual prompts, and environmental adjustments.
• Familiarity with Individual Activity Support Plans and Plans of Service and Supports.
