About the Role
Quik Hire Staffing is seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join their remote team. This full-time position involves designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines and infrastructure that power analytics, machine learning, and product functionalities. The role focuses on creating reliable, scalable data movement systems and ensuring data usability for all dependent teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and uphold ETL/ELT pipelines to efficiently transfer data into the warehouse.
- Create data models and documentation to enable trusted datasets for downstream users.
- Manage upkeep of data warehouses and orchestration tools to ensure system robustness.
- Collaborate closely with analytics and machine learning teams to understand and fulfill their data requirements.
- Monitor data pipeline performance and quickly troubleshoot any production issues.
- Continuously enhance data quality, lineage, and governance practices over time.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- At least three years of experience in data engineering roles.
- Proficient in SQL and Python programming languages.
- Hands-on experience with modern data warehouses such as Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, or Databricks.
- Familiarity with orchestration frameworks like Airflow, Dagster, Prefect, or dbt.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms including AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Understanding of data modeling techniques, dimensional design, and performance tuning.

Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive salary ranging approximately between $105,000 and $170,000 (USD equivalent), based on experience, qualifications, and location.
