About the Role
Panda Express, the largest family-owned American Chinese restaurant concept in the U.S., is seeking experienced leaders to join its store management team in Wenatchee, WA. As an Assistant Manager, you will assist in overseeing a single store's operations, including hiring, managing associates, and achieving financial goals while ensuring outstanding guest experiences. The company is dedicated to providing professional growth through paid Store Management Leadership Training and continuous mentorship.
Key Responsibilities
- Support daily store operations and assist in managing the team to meet financial and service targets.
- Recruit, hire, and direct associates to ensure smooth functioning of the store.
- Deliver exceptional customer experiences by maintaining high standards and addressing guest needs.
- Complete a minimum of three weeks of store leadership training designed to equip you for success.
Requirements and Eligibility
- High school diploma is mandatory.
- Flexibility to relocate within 50 miles of your home to another store if needed.
- Availability to work varied shifts, including opening and closing times, evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business demands.
- Certification in Food Safety (Serve Safe) is required.
- Physical demands include standing for long periods, handling hot and cold foods, operating kitchen tools, lifting up to 50 lbs, coping with hot and noisy environments, and working in a fast-paced setting.
- Strong verbal communication skills and ability to adapt to changing priorities and conflict situations are essential.
