About the Role
Bring your enthusiasm for literacy, information, and lifelong learning to help our community flourish. We are looking for a skilled professional to join the Agile Library team, delivering services across rural villages and suburban areas within the Wagga Wagga Local Government Area.
What We Offer
- Permanent, full-time employment opportunity.
- Starting gross remuneration of $2,686.30 per fortnight, with potential progression to $3,223.56 gross per fortnight, plus 12% superannuation.

- Please note: Employees aged 15-18 years are paid according to the Local Government (State) Award 2023, Clause 32 for Junior and Trainee Employment.
Position Responsibilities
- Facilitate diverse library programming in both library premises and community venues, including children’s activities, youth engagement, seniors’ classes, intergenerational events, and author presentations.
- Operate the Agile Library service across multiple locations within the Local Government Area, providing quality service to library patrons addressing their informational and leisure needs.
- Manage promotional, publicity, and marketing efforts related to program and service delivery.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Extensive experience presenting programs tailored to varied audiences.
- Strong verbal and presentation communication abilities.
- Significant experience with Library Management Systems and offering information and reader advisory services in a library context.
- Possession of a valid Class C Driver’s Licence.
- Current NSW Working with Children Check Clearance.
