About the Role
Yaskawa America, Inc. - Drives & Motion Division, based in Franklin, WI, is hiring Assemblers for a 1st shift position working a 4-day week schedule: Monday through Thursday from 5 am to 3 pm. This role offers on-the-job training and benefit eligibility from the first day of employment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble components, including wiring and soldering tasks.
- Perform wire processing duties such as stripping, crimping, and cutting, regardless of wire size.
- Make necessary mechanical adjustments to equipment or assemblies.
Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience relevant to the role.
- Preferred: at least one year of mechanical or electrical manufacturing experience.
- Competence in reading and writing English; comfortable with arithmetic including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and precise measurement.
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and perform tasks efficiently and safely within assigned schedules.
- Adaptability to change with initiative and accountability for personal work.
- Positive attitude and ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
