This internship opportunity involves working directly with cutting-edge machine learning and computer vision algorithms tailored for automotive applications, specifically in the development of an autonomous battery-swapping system for electric four-wheelers in India. The primary product is a custom-designed swappable battery module, emphasizing ease of disassembly.
Key Responsibilities
- Enhance and fine-tune machine learning algorithms optimized for deployment on edge devices.
- Conduct training, validation, and testing processes for various ML models to ensure robustness and accuracy.
- Develop and implement computer vision algorithms suited for automotive technology use cases.
- Engage hands-on with cameras and assorted sensors to gather and process data.
- Work extensively with custom-built datasets to refine model performance.
Candidate Profile and Eligibility
- Enrolled in or completed B.Tech/B.E. in Computer Science, IT, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or related disciplines.
- Possess strong proficiency in Python programming and development.
- Basic grasp of machine learning, AI fundamentals, and computer vision concepts.
- Familiar with libraries and frameworks such as OpenCV, NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
- Fundamental knowledge of Linux operating systems and version control using Git.
- Bonus: Experience with Robot Operating System (ROS 2) or embedded systems technology.
- Exhibit strong problem-solving abilities coupled with eagerness to learn and innovate.
- Availability for a full-time, in-office internship beginning between August 5 and September 9, 2026, lasting six months.
